Website Privacy Policy
How the public Ohr Wellness website handles ordinary website, contact, scheduling, and technical information.
Effective / last updated: September 3, 2026.
Information you choose to provide
Ohr Wellness may receive information you voluntarily provide by phone, ordinary email, or through scheduling and client-management tools, such as your name, contact information, appointment preferences, state/location for virtual eligibility, insurance or billing questions, and other information you choose to provide.
Please do not send detailed health information by ordinary email
Public email addresses are intended for general questions, scheduling, billing, and administrative communication. Do not send detailed medical histories, diagnoses, laboratory results, medication lists, medical-record images, or other sensitive health information through ordinary email unless Ohr Wellness has specifically provided an approved secure method.
Practice Better scheduling and client portal
Ohr Wellness uses Practice Better for scheduling, intake, client forms, secure portal functions, and secure communication. The Practice Better booking widget is loaded on the Discovery Call page and may process information needed to display availability, request or schedule appointments, prevent abuse, and operate the service. Information submitted directly to Practice Better is also subject to Practice Better's applicable privacy and security practices and Ohr Wellness's obligations when applicable.
Virtual-service location information
Because state law and professional authority can depend on where a client is physically located during a virtual service, Ohr Wellness may request and document state/location information for eligibility and compliance purposes.
Technical information
Website hosting providers and necessary third-party services may automatically process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, request logs, referring pages, timestamps, and security-related data needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and deliver the website.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Ohr Wellness does not currently use third-party advertising pixels, behavioral advertising, or session-replay tools on the public website. Necessary cookies or scripts may be used by the website host or by Practice Better when the scheduling widget or portal is used. If analytics, advertising technology, chat, or other tracking technologies are added later, their privacy implications will be reviewed and this policy will be updated as appropriate.
How information may be used
- Responding to general inquiries and scheduling requests
- Confirming state/location eligibility for virtual services
- Operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the website
- Supporting billing, insurance, and administrative workflows
- Transitioning a prospective client to the appropriate secure intake process
- Complying with legal, regulatory, professional, and contractual obligations
Service providers
Hosting, email, scheduling, payment, billing, secure intake, client-portal, and other vendors may process information when those services are enabled. When required by applicable law, Ohr Wellness will use appropriate agreements and safeguards for vendors that create, receive, maintain, or transmit protected health information or other protected records on behalf of the practice.
Children's information
This public website is directed to parents, guardians, and adults seeking information. Children should not submit personal or health information directly through the public website without a parent or legal guardian.
