Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers before you begin.

Common questions about Amy's RN scope, virtual services, Nurse Practitioner collaboration, laboratory testing, scheduling, billing, and secure communication.

What kind of practice is Ohr Wellness?

Ohr Wellness is a fully virtual, wellness-focused functional nursing practice. Amy provides holistic and lifestyle-based nursing assessment, wellness education, coaching, health-promotion services, and individualized Wellness Plans within her RN scope.

Does Amy diagnose or treat medical conditions?

No. Amy Harrington, RN, does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage medical disease. Medical evaluation, diagnosis, prescribing, treatment, and medical orders, when applicable, are provided by an appropriately licensed Nurse Practitioner or other qualified medical provider.

What is Amy's nursing license?

Amy is a Registered Professional Nurse with New Jersey multistate license #26NR18774800. Whether a specific Ohr Wellness service may be provided still depends on the state where the client is physically located, state-specific law, and the type of service requested.

Is Ohr Wellness available in every compact state?

Not automatically. A multistate nursing license is only one part of the analysis. State-specific scope, business, telehealth, wellness-practice, and collaborating-provider requirements can differ. Ohr Wellness confirms state eligibility before establishing services.

Do you work with children?

Yes. Pediatrics and family wellness are an important focus of the practice. Amy provides parent education, whole-child wellness support, healthy-foundation guidance, and collaboration support while medical diagnosis and treatment remain with the child's pediatrician, specialists, or other appropriately licensed medical providers.

Can Ohr Wellness use laboratory testing?

When laboratory testing is available and appropriate, testing is ordered by an appropriately licensed Nurse Practitioner or other authorized medical provider in accordance with applicable law. Amy may use laboratory information for nursing education, Wellness Plan development, and collaboration within her authorized scope. Availability is state-dependent.

How do I schedule a discovery call?

Discovery calls can be scheduled securely through Practice Better on the Discovery Call page. If you have trouble booking, call 302-647-9891 or email appointments@ohrwellness.com.

What happens during a discovery call?

The discovery call is a brief conversation about what you are looking for, Amy's scope, virtual eligibility in your state, available wellness options, current pricing, and next steps. It is not an emergency service, medical diagnosis, or treatment visit.

Do you offer memberships or packages?

Yes. Ohr Wellness currently presents Foundation, Guided Wellness, and Ohr Membership pathways. Exact inclusions, communication boundaries, and current pricing are reviewed before enrollment and reflected in the applicable Practice Better agreement.

Do you accept insurance?

Many wellness services are expected to begin as self-pay. Insurance billing may be available for eligible services when the licensed provider, payer, credentialing status, state, and plan requirements allow. Insurance coverage or reimbursement is never guaranteed. Visit Billing & Insurance for more information.

What if I am uninsured or choose not to use insurance?

Federal Good Faith Estimate rules may apply to certain scheduled services. See the Good Faith Estimate page or contact billing@ohrwellness.com.

Where should I send health information?

Use Practice Better or another secure method provided by Ohr Wellness. Please do not send detailed medical histories, laboratory results, medication lists, or medical-record images through ordinary email unless specifically instructed to use an approved secure method.

What should I do in an emergency?

Ohr Wellness is not an emergency service. Call 911 or seek immediate emergency medical care for urgent or life-threatening concerns.
